ESB Electric Ireland “Evolution”
It’s a big and exciting year for ESB. As the energy market deregulates, they’re free to compete for customers again – with a new name, a new gas offering, and some lovely new discounts.
We knew it was vital for the successful launch of ESB Electric Ireland that the company’s heritage was acknowledged, and that the new brand was positioned as a natural next stage of the development of ESB Customer Supply.
Based on this insight we developed our ‘Evolution’ campaign, which celebrates the role of ESB in the Irish home through the years while introducing all of our new news.
To achieve the visual effects we needed, Dublin production and post house Piranha Bar used photogrammetry techniques never seen before in an Irish commercial.
The campaign was supported through-the-line with press, radio, PR and a strong online presence, which consisted of several large takeovers across multiple sites, ensuring we engaged with the largest possible audience.
